I’m Elizabeth Rose and this is a web site about my life as a writer.
I am, and have been for some time, working on a novel about a man whose involvement in the Men’s Rights Movement internet community changes how he perceives himself and his role in the world. It won’t be the first novel I’ve written, but it will be the first one that might be worth reading.
For several years, I was active in the Community Voices program with the Dallas Morning News.
Currently, I’m enrolled in the Master of Liberal Studies program at Southern Methodist University with a dual concentration in Social Justice and Creative Writing.
In 2017, I’ve teamed up with a good friend to write letters to our elected officials advocating for them to stand up the Trump administration against corruption and collusion with foreign governments at the expense of American freedom. With the same goal, I’ve also been writing a Facebook page called Slytherins Against Voldemort. It may be the funniest thing I have ever written. At least I think it is.
For a long time, I wrote a blog about cancer called DanceWithTheReaper. It’s a little sloppy, but I haven’t gone through to fix things and edit it because the authenticity of the cancer experience is an important part of the blog.
Thank you for coming by.
